Robin Naneix, LPC, RPT ( Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist) specializing in Sandtray Therapy and Play Therapy for adults and for children in need of  either psychotherapy, or of self-discovery work. Robin has a degree in Mental Health Counseling Psychology, has intensively studied Sandtray-WorldplayTM with the originator of this methodology. Her RPT status certifies hundreds of hours of play therapy training and supervision through the National Association for Play Therapy.(www.a4pt.org)

Clients are invited to build spontaneous  worlds in the sand using little statues of people, houses, vehicles, flora and fauna, landscaping materials, fire, water, and numinous figures. Robin is trained to facilitate the client in describing and  visiting these worlds. Afterwards, a  client is able to gain perspective of his or her greater daily world. Later, this is translated into a treatment plan, or for self-discovery work,  a plan of action which facilitates growth and change. Clients are able to express and to experience such that they gain a greater sense of self-worth and acceptance. As such they are more readily able to communicate and are more willing to make behavioral changes.

In addition, CIRCLE~SAND~WAYS offers yearly sandplay camping retreats as a way to reconnect with the greater circle of who we are and to offer visioning of who we may become.

Through sandtray play we can locate and put into action our unique gifts that we have to offer self, family, community, and world. We can leave our footprint in the sand.
